Here it is for anyone that didn't see it:
Billie: my secret anorexia
Doctor who star Billie Piper told last night of her secret battle with anorexia. The blonde actress revealed she had the eating disorder for two years before she married Chris Evans. And the stress of their split in 2004 brought it on again. Billie, 24, said yesterday, "I didn't feel qualified or ready to talk about it until i was really, really well, this year."
The star, who plays Rose Tyler, said she was so thin at the age of 18, when she married, that she couldn't have children.
And she revealed it was Chris who first suggested that were over- sending her spiralling into depression again.
It came after the couple started spending long periods apart while she was filming Doctor Who. But Billie said her lowest point was when she was 16- and came close to killing herself.
Just a year earlier, in 1998, she had become Britain's youngest singer to top the charts.
In her new autobiography 'Growing pains,' she reveals she nearly took an overdose of melatonin- used as a sleeping pill- while alone in a Chicago hotel room. But she didn't go through with it and begged to come home.
Yesterday Billie said she didn't want other young girls to suffer like she did.
She added: "I have to be so careful not to give them ideas on how to lose weight because that's what I used to do. I'd read an article in a magazine about anorexia and think, 'ooh, i'll do that.' "
She admitted the eating disorder started because she hated her looks. She said: "I was never as pretty as the other girls. My features were always too big- my jaw was too heavy, my mouth too wide."
Billie also reveals that she smoked cannabis before she was a teenager, while growing up in Swindon, Wilts.
But she said that was because it was what young people "do" in the town.
